Pro Football Focus rated him as the 85th cornerback out of 121 graded. He was called for 13 penalties (two declined), which tied for the most among cornerbacks in the NFL. He led the Jets with 11 penalties, including four defensive holding calls and four flags for pass interference. Skrine’s biggest issue last year, as it has been throughout his career, was penalties. 2 cornerback opposite Morris Claiborne and played both on the outside and in the slot.
